Which oil is in the motor?

Does anybody know what oil is in Type R and what grade? Just asking if its going to need some topping up if it drinks some

I`m sure some CTR owners will respond, my CTR is a few weeks away, so don`t know the car comes with. But for topups and oil changes a lot of people are recommending Castrol Edge products, http://www.castrol.com/castrol/produ...tentId=7009083

check the cars hand book/service book the oil and grade to use info is usually in there...

To my surprise, after 1,5 months my car still hasn't used up a drop of oil it seems. Only wish I could say the same for petrol

Always had good experiences with any Shell oils. But to tell you the truth, I rarely had to put oil into any of my Honda's.
