Any new CTR problems, i have....

OK apart from the 3rd gear problem that Honda already know about, this has happened to me about 3-4 times in the past week or so. when I go to start my car I press the start button and everything strains and goes dim then dead almost like when your battery is dead, I try it again and it's fine??

Not sure if this is a problem or not but in the morning or after my car has not been driven for a few hours I notice my car idles quiet hight 2000revs I can even drive off without the use of the accelrator I asked the Honda garage about this and he said that was normal for the type r ????

I thought this was normal, I get this when the engine is cold

Only had the 3rd gear problem in the first 500-700 miles all sorted now

It probably is normal but I've just never driven a car that idled that high in the mornings. Your lucky, I still get the 3rd gear prob and my car has about 1900 on the clock.

the weird slow-start is a known issue and something to do with emissions

1800 miles done so far. I have a number of squeaks from the interior trim (mainly dash and roof lining). My clutch pedal has also developed a squeak when depressed. The tailgate intermittently rattled when driving over an uneven surface - though, I think that this has now been solved by adjusting the two rubber stoppers. Ohh - and the gear shift gaiter squeaks sometimes too. Sounds a lot - but all minor annoyances rather than problems. I am on holiday shortly so will book her into the Garage on one of my days off.

No problems with 3 gear or the Start button though.

Don't have the Starter button problem. 3rd gear is still not 100% though after 3500 kms. I'll be visiting the dealer for this next week.

Does dirt count as a problem ?

Happend twice that the car didn't start when pressing the start button although it was only in beginning during the first week after purchase. It's been ok ever since.

When my engine's cold it revs up to 1900~2000. Should be normal.

Third gear is not a noticeable problem for me. Got used to it after 5 minutes, just had to make sure you really push the gear all the way. Some cars don't have this problem at all and some cars are worse.

Not really a problem (I hope), but after I hit a pot-hole, a large 'VSA' warning displayed in the middle of the tachometer, and there was an "i" in the speedo display.
Pressing the VSA off button didn't remove any of these occurrences, but they finally disappeared when I switched the ignition off then back on. Haven't noticed any problems since though.

Strange, but true.
