Question New type R-GT vs Mazda RX8 (230)

I currently own a Mazda Rx8 (230) trading it in for a type R GT (delivery for type R was suposed to be first week in August)
Has any one else owned both these cars,
if so how do they compare!

that RX8 is a great and quick car. It beat the M3 round the track on the top gear test.

Civic far nicer to look at though IMO

I had a 230 for 3 1/2 years. I seem to drive the R faster than I did the 8.

I'm getting around 28-30MPG with the R, alot better than the 8 and I've not had to put a drop on oil in it yet!

I do prefer the ride of the 8 to R's at times bumpy ride.

what handles better 8 or R?

can the R match the handling of the 8 on corners? (i just love
letting the back end go coming out of a tight bend)

thanks mate for any answers!

50mph thats a bit disappointing!!

My RX8 howls its way to 70mph in second, I was hoping for at least 60mph from the R.
