Will Honda UK speak to me?

My Type R should be here end of this month-ish. I'm not convinced on what the dealer tells me, and am imagining "slippage" outside of their control.

Will Honda speak to me directly, so I can get the current date confirmed? I know the dealer is full of ****e

What do you want Honda to tell you?
If all you want is a delivery date, then your dealer already told you, didn't they? There isn't one at this time.

Ordered my milano red type R GT on 18th May, was told delivery would be 1st week in August, called dealer last week was told might be September.

Called Honda UK "CAR CUSTOMER RELATIONS TEAM" was told delivery should still be 1st week in August.

N.B :- you will need your vehicle order number from your dealer.

Hope this helps!!

I don't see any reason why the dealer would lie, If you don't believe them you can always give Honda a ring directly although its likely they will give you the same date your dealer has.

My salesman didn't know that the CTDi has a turbo in it. I think you'll understand my concern!

Well that's a little worrying! Dealer should be working off the same software as Honda though, likely they will have fairly accurate delivery dates. Fingers crossed for you!

What did he think the T in CTDi stands for?
The stuff he drinks on his break?

I am seriously sick of car sales people who know less about the product than I do!

If YOU had to wait 13 weeks on your type R you would be PERKY to say the least.
Then you have the a** h**e of a car salesman who dosn`t return your calls, when he does he tells you the car might be delayed 4 weeks!!!!!!

p.s
I need a type R to calm me down!!!!!!!!!!!!

well current estimate is August 12th. If it's then, I'll HAVE to force myself to wait until September for the new req. Hardest few weeks of my life!
