I can't understand where they get £900 from. That's £900 plus your standard wheels that they don't fit.I opted not to get the Rage wheels and get after market wheels and put my standard ones on E-bay.Hopefully the new ones, with the sale of the others will only stand me for £500.

Compared to RafTypeR's ones, I prefer the Rage.
So, if you can afford them, get the Rage. I regret not ordering them.

I actually think it looks good, but I could not live with the ride day-to-day. Itīs 1.8 and 17" for me for that reason.

I have to say I am quite suprised that no other R owner has comented to say that they have the 19" rages and all is well? good ride and awsome car grip etc ???

Does this mean that they regret it ?

....p.s how did we go from 18" alloys or 19" rages to clown's shoes ????? very odd

19" Rages all day long. Im glad I got them. Makes the CTR look alot more aggresive. Ive seen a few R's about and the standard 18's look lost in the arches. As for ride quality, I dont see a problem. Driven mine every day for two months and Im not peeing blood yet!. In fact there's not much difference to my my old 02 ctr. If you can afford to replace the tyres when needed, then I would buy them. You wont regret it!

We didn't.

I said that 19 inch wheels on a Civic look like clown shoes. i.e they are too big.

O I seen what you mean !

Thanks frosty that's the type of reasurance I was after, I have owned 2 type r's before both with the 17" and found the ride fine, then went to a subaru sti on 17"s now makeing the move from a mk5 gti with 17"s....

I do expect is to be tougher than the golf...but most defiatley agreed it does look way better with 19"s... I have also already checked the cost of replacement rubber with my local tyres r us, and been quoted £152 each...not that bad...!

My Mercedes estate is spec:d to use 45 psi in the rear.
Donīt know if it is right for the rages, but these kind of psi:s are not unheard of.

I think that maybe right - for the psi

I dont regret getting the 19's
On another note you dont have to notice the rubber sidewall greying after use as there is no sidewall to look at as in on the 18's....

If i have the money ill get the yokos as replacement tyres

yokos are a great choice of tyre, just dont seem to last that long due to the soft compound!
