Standard 18" or Rage 19"s

Guy's, I wondering if you can all help me out of a dilemar !

I am placing my order with honda, And just cant decide on weather to stay with the standard alloys or go for the 19" rages ?

I am just a little concerned that the 19" may make the ride way to hard or the alloys buckle easily ?

can anyone out there re-asure me that the 19" drive ok and dont buckle to easy ?

I have to say that the 19" rages do look awsom...but is it worth it ?

I live in a City where roads are like 70 years ago .
I still manage to drive the car with the 19". Of course don't expect to be a confortable ride.
If you live in UK I think you will not have such a big problem

and i have a golf gti mk5 at the mo wich is a lot softer...i think i mite just risk it as they do look wicked !

i think to buckle a rage is going to be very hard there are as many spokes at the normal alloys and they are equally as strong of course

Id say look carefully there are 2 ctr in my road with nice shiny alu 18's and i do look over at them and covet them sometimes

I would stick with the standard 18", as i've got 18" storms on my civic i find them a bit bumpy and really noisy on certain roads. i think the 19" would make it alot worse.

What about some aftermarket wheels? I havent noticed any difference in ride quality betwee 18 and 19 to be honest, tried some 20's and they were terrible, really crashy ride.

These cost me £1100 inluding tyres so not much more than the rages

Thumbs up

RafType R

Love the wheels big improvement to the Rages (don`t know if its just me but the Rages do nothing for the look of the type R)

nice wheels, those look like split rims so should be very stong....

sound like no one has buckled the rages... or they would have said !
