Delivery delayed,,, but half expected

had the dreaded phone call today from the dealer saying my 1st September delivery date has been put back to probably first week in October.
Was given a new build date of w/c 16 September with a delivery to the showroom the following week,, usuming they will take the best part of a week to do what they have to do I am now looking at maybe the first week of October for a collection,, this will be approx 19 weeks from order date of 27 May for a bog standard CTR GT

ditto, got a call from the dealers telling me 16th September.

I'm curious, when did you order the car? I put my a deposit down end of May. Can't believe Honda delay delivery like this, on a car which has been in production for several months

Ordered on 27 May,,, that will be a minimum of 19 weeks till delivery.
Honda have under estimated this big time IMO

My 1.8 with satnav has been delayed from July to mid August.

Blamed on "delays in Swindon".

I ordered a CTR GT with sat nav in March and the dealer just told me anywhere between June and Sept. Thinking the worst i was pretty pleased when he called to say it had arrived. Unfortunately that was 2 weeks ago, just before i went on holiday! I get it on Saturday morning

Thumbs up

I ordered my Type R GT on 12th May. Just collected it yesterday. Milan Red with front and rear spoilers, city pack, ambient lighting and blacked out rear windows.
I love it already. Just got to get the bluetooth sorted, should be tomorrow and then the Ipod link up which is going to be a bit more problematical as the guy I use to do the work doesnt know of any satisfactory solution to this that will give me steering wheel control of the Ipod itself. All solutions seem to rely on making playlists up which I think is crap. Someone will do one eventually I guess.

I ordered my NHB +HFT on April 8th and had it delivered this morning.

All i can say is that it's worth the wait. I almost cancelled in desperation last week but i'm soooo glad i didn't.

Just hang on in there anyone who is still waiting - you won't regret it.

Thanks Milliondollarman.
November seems like such a long time, but I keep reminding myself just how good I felt during the test drive.
