FN2 Brake setup

I have had my FN2 for just over 2 months now and love it to bits, but I have noticed that when washing the wheels I am getting more brake dust on the rear wheels than the front. Normally I would expect the front brakes to output far more dust than the rear and was wondering if this is normal on the FN2 due to a different braking set-up or do i have a problem that I need to speak with my dealer about?

I presumed myself that it's probably due to increased airflow through the front wheels. Although other possibilities include VSA effecting brake distribution.

I think that most FN2 owners experience the same thing though so I doubt it's a fault as such.

Canīt possibly imagine that there is a rear-biased brake set-up on any road car.

Could it be the VSA doing its stuff?
Thatīs my only thought.

If you can jack the car up - check if the rear wheels rotate smoothly with little resistace. If they donīt the rear brakes are probably "on".

I definately have the same, more on the rear. I put that down to VSA too.

Me to. This has been discussed before. There are loads of people seeing this happen. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Getting less brake dust on the front does have one advantage though - If you reverse your car into parking spaces it does look cleaner for longer
