I find myself driving the long way too work, as I'm only 3 miles away if I go my normal way.

There's a five month old CTR GT in silver for sale on ebay. It's only done 899 miles. It's got a few extras and the five year service plan. The reserve is £17500 and it's not up to that yet. End's very soon though.

This does seem like a good buy if the price does not exceed the reserve by too much.
But it does make you wonder why someone is selling the car after 5 months?

It's ended now, and the reserve wasn't met. It got to £17050, I'd be interested to know if he lets it go for that and save readvertising costs.

It's back on again and the reserve has been lowered to £17200.

Just wondering has anyone ordered a Type R in 2008?
What delivery times are you being quoted?

I will bet it is not 16 weeks plus like a few of us had to wait

Now thats a turn around time, but still not as quick as Ford's 4 day delivery on a ST from scratch (which is very scary)

My wait was around 7 weeks!

I could have had it in 3 if I wanted it in Bronze instead of Black!

Ordered Type R GT Milano Red 2nd weekend in Jan, and could have picked it up next week, which would be a 3 week wait. However, I chose to leave it to March 01 to get it on an 08 plate, which also gives me a bit more time to get a decent price for the current motor, as part-ex valuation was not great.

Ordered on the Thursday, and drove away 12 next wednesday... as for a Focus ST, you can't have one until end March begining April, and that was quoted from 4 dealers.

It's due to the facelift though, that suprise of all suprises, is being facelifted at the end of the year!
