Ordered Type R GT, 19" Rage, Sat Nav and reversing camera on the 1st July, told it would be 4th September. Now told it will be 25th September. I sold my other 2002 Type R and am now driving a Vectra 2.5, which is powerful but not a patch on the Type R. Got my other bits from Holdcroft, mats, stickers and mudflaps, already had the mudflaps sprayed NHB to match the car all i need now is the car.

Mine was delayed twice!!
The only way to be sure of delivery date is get a chassis number from dealer this is available about 3 weeks from delivery date!

(mine is due on 17th September after placing ordered on 19th May)

I have been told by the dealer that they only get the chasis number 1 week before delivery - in other words does this mean a delayed delivery that they are not telling me about ???

Ordered early August with a delivery quoted as the end of September. The delivery date has not changed since the day I ordered.

My original delivery date was 8th of August,
I was told about 2 weeks before delivery that it would be delayed until September!

I was told about 3 weeks a go that you get a production number first then chassis number second.

Hope i am wrong but going with my own experience i think it will be delayed for 3-4 weeks
(keep pestering the dealer for production number and chassis number)

Good luck

Thanks. It would be interesting to have a survey of how late actual deliverys are versus originally quoted delivery when the order was placed.

Hi Guys - I am new to this forum so go easy!

I ordered my CTR GT in Milano Red last Monday 1st Oct - the only option I specified was for the dealer to throw in a space saver spare....

What's the betting on the leadtime for delivery? Bristol Honda where its coming from have suggested 1st week in December.

Any comments welcome! (Superb forum by the way!)

Thanks
