I'm sure that they have made that many, but only a handfull are in the UK. Japan is the only country where they don't get the same CTR as us and the ones like ours are all made in Swindon.

Just glad we don't have a 5 digit number

They won't be long coming though

Which part of your VIN number has the "08" in it as mine has 07 and 08 in it.

Mines doesn't have a 07 anywhere in it. That was the only reason I knew for sure it was an 08. Longer sequence of numbers has a 08 in it as does the shorter ones at the end. Not a number 7 in sight

Hi Guys

I called the dealer this afternoon and they are seeing on their system a build date of Nov 11 next - anyone want to guess when I should be able to get my hands on it?

If thats the build date and not est delivery date which can be plus or minus 2 days then it should be with the dealer on Monday the 12th. Then its upto your dealer when you get the car. Mines arrived in the monday and I picked up on the Friday.

My car is due to my dealer on +/- 2 days from the 12th November too... they want 1 or 2 days to prep... so should have the 'R' 2 weeks on Wednesday!
Got any pics of your new baby Angie?

Wow really that quick? I guess they don't hang around long in Swindon once the paint is dry

Someone did say its about 8 hours to complete the car then its not long after its on its way.

The new car smell was so strong on mines, my Mum could smell it as soon as she opened her car door on the driveway on Friday night

Hi all, been reading the threads on waiting times since I ordered my CTR on the 13th September, originally given the 9th Nov as my delivery date but now put back to the 25th 11 weeks. Just hope it comes before then. I know its going to be worth the wait how ever long it takes.

Type R GT NHB.
