Longest waiting time for Type R?

Hi, just wondering who has waited the longest for there Type R?

I ordered my Milano red Type R Gt on 19th May the delivery was supposed to be the 8th of August, delivery has been put back to 3rd week in August.
I will get the car on 1st of September (I hope!) making a 15 week wait.

I can beat that, my delivery date now (for a bog standard Milano red GT) is the end of September making a total of 19 weeks. (that's if there are no further delays)

order my GT with 19's and bumper upgrade and parking sensors end of march should be in dealer mid august. but i cant have it till october as the lease on my current company car doesnt finish till november so its just gona be sat there waiting for me

presume they will have too, the lease company said it wount be registered until it is deliered. i assume the lease company we use has an agreement with them. i tried to negotiate to get it in sept but fleet manager wouldn't budge

Millie took me 14 weeks to plonk on my drive.

At one time during the wait the delay was upped to an ETA of 22 weeks!

Still worth waiting for tho'.

Trouble is everyone want the fabulous Red nowadays so they are getting ahrder to obtain!

I´m guessing the dealer had it in stock.
I´ve seen 2 CTRs here sitting unregistered in show rooms and for sale.

The dealer had a canceled order, somebody decided they couldn't wait 2 months for delivery. we got it 10 o'clock yesterday and wow. would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the ford focus we left standing. on out first drive.

Wee bit of bad news!

According to dealer where i am buying mine he said all delivery times have been put back 3-4 weeks!
Talked to dealer start off this week to add city pack to car, he said delivery times are still delayed

waiting time doesnt seem too bad, ordered mine today and was promised end sept, after reading these threads i thought it would be like months!

ordered it 3rd week in feb, got it 3rd of march ! could not believe it ! Nearly 6 months of happy motoring !

As can be seen from my signature, 20 weeks for mine.
If that is accurate, and it seems doubtful, this makes it November 15th.

Don`t believe the dealers they will tell you anything to get a sale!

Honda are quoting 15-20 weeks for a standard TYPE R GT.
