if most people end up saying above 30 i might have to end up getting a Type R. Cause I only get 40mpg out of the diesel. I would sacrifice losing only upto 10 mpg for the sake of having the type r.

I have closed this poll, in order to encourage you to take the survey instead.
The survey link is here: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/survey.php You can filter those results to just show Type R using the check box (on the engine type) and pressing the Go button. Or you can export the results to Excel and analyse them. I did this and they are here. I've just done it again for the Type R only and the results are: Town: 26 (average deviation 3) Mix: 28 (average deviation 3) Motorway: 31 (average deviation 3) If I only look at those who answered "Make progress, but only occasional full power", then the results are: Town: 27 (average deviation 3) Mix: 30 (average deviation 3) Motorway: 32 (average deviation 4) I'm sorry to close the poll, but the survey allows each person to "vote" three mpg figures, as well as tell us how they drive. Previous mpg polls seem to create more questions than they answer. Hope this helps! |

Well I've done 7500 miles in mine since Mid May and have averaged 32 mpg,( although wanted to see just how much I could squeeze out of it and got 36.5 nusing it ) most is on long runs as the mileage suggests but have as much fun possible when I can, so a true reading I think

Can someone save me doing the maths and let me know what 30mpg equates to in terms of distance (using a full tank). And if you're really kind, how much a full tank of petrol costs (roughly), as I don't know the size of the tank.

Costs around £45 to fill up depending on price obviously, and will do around 330 miles depending on driving style Thats what Im getting anyway. The fuel light comes on with about 8 Lts in the tank |
