Guy's I have my Type R gt on order for early oct delivery, but I didnt add the option of tryp r badge and side stickers, at the time I thought 130 was a right rip off....but now I am thinking that as a minimium i would like the front badge....

Someone has done the same as you and bought the front badge from ebay on here. It was an OEM badge that just clips onto the front grill and is a lot less than the £130 from the dealers, so if its just the front badge you want Id look on ebay.

I got ripped off by my dealer, they said they would give a significant discount and ended up invoicing me £184, to which i've only just paid nearly 4 months on.
I think they are a must have though. |

I work at a Danish Honda dealer and we were fitting this on a CTR the other day. One of the reasons it is so exepensive is the time it takes to install. Apparently you have to remove the entire front bumber to install the decal...

£184 - That's obscene! I still need to get a badge but the new ones on e-bay are still really expensive for what they are. The used ones on e-bay are more than likely stolen. I'm worried about spending £70 on a badge just to have i nicked a week later. I'm gonna wait 'till Halfords start doing a cheapo!

No, you only pay extra to have the the 'Type-R' badge on the front grill (and the side stickers) - the red 'H' logo is installed on the front grill as standard. |

There's being tight and there's having the p*ss ripped out me. I could spend the hundred odd quid on a stereo or speaker upgrade. The badge and sticker set must be produced in the tens of thousands. They probably only cost Honda 10p a time! I'll wait for Halfords.....

Well I've just bought my badge set and it was delivered next day from Holdcroft they are on here, main dealer £57.50 the set. I have just fitted the front badge and didnt have to take off the bumper like the instructions say, it was a squeeze mind just loosened the 2 front bolts on the top of the grille to give a bit more room, now plucking up the courage to do the side stickers
