looking forward to it!
So the test drive went... i think...

GREAT! Dream machine, and im ordering tomorrow!

Compared to the diesel it was totally different, lets say two different worlds... Its like comparing a honda custom chopper with a 600RR...

Those seats were incredible, the stearing and feedback was awesome, handeling second to none and the engine just screaming of pleasure as you push it above the magic 5000rev limit, good gearbox aswell!
To those who says it feels like 6 2nd gears, huh??? perfect ratio!
So if you enjoy beeing and acting a racdriver and like driving a bit agressive sometimes there is no question, buy the R!!

Its allso nice, cuz you kind of have 2 modes for the engine, stay below 5000revs and even your grandmama could enjoy driving it, if you get in racing mode, just push it further and you got a hell of a race car
Sweeet piece of motor!
If i should mention any bad things it would be slight underpowered brakes and little slow trottle response (but just slight). The car itself (chassis, gearbox etc) was so good that it could easily handle a 250bhp engine (wish it had 230bhp )

And my biggest suprise was how comfotable it really was for a racer, no probs for long jurneys, just enjoy

yeah just went to the dealer even the interior quality is better on the R the S has a hard dashboard the R has a soft touch I wonder why they did that...???? like NO car today has that ****** material.....

The only thing I don't like is if u wind the window down on the door and hold one hand on the inside of the door and the other outside you can squeeze the door id doesn't have the sturdiness not too happy about that must admit can see that giving **** long term vibrations etc....

Off to see the Audi tomorrow..... hmmmmmm A3 1.8 TFSI

Audi's are good no getting away from that but in a totally different way, Im talking about the R now verses TT. The R is much more usable, 4 proper seats and a boot and alot more fun,and you dont need to get any Vidal Sassoon products on your hands to qualify, the Type R dosent blend in like the TT and less around so residuals will be better

depends how I drive , keeping it cool and around 75 mph I get 380 miles to a tank [best I ever got was 410]

spirited I get 280-300 on same journey

£45 to fill the tank on V-power

usually I can remain subdued from mon-thurs, but early finish Friday and weekend shifts bring out the devil in me I'm afraid
