In the process of ordering the new FN2 Type R GT.

Need advice on which one to get.

Type R GT NHB/DPB - 19" rims/ipod

or

Type R NHB/DPB - 18" rims/ipod/Sat Nav & Handsfree Telephone.

Basically it's a toss up between the Sat Nav and the Rages..

Talking sat nav of course!

I would prefer the sat nav because is something that is 1st of all usefull and 2nd you can always buy some rims... and even rims that are not honda any time you want... why not buying now the sat nav in which you can also watch dvd, tv etc etc with a proper search in the forum... than buying the rims... rims are rims... they dont offer you anything more than a nice view when your outside the car... how much time do you spend watching the car on the exterior... and how much time do you spend driving it....???

BUY THE SAT NAV!!!!

Satnav. Useful every day.

19" rims. Can look OK. But then so do the 18"ers.

Id have to agree with everyone else. Get Sat Nav and then (if you want) save for the Rages!!

I think the Rages make the 'R' look god damn sexy ...but you can fit them after, the Sat Nav cant, or if it can Honda will charge Mega Bucks!

Get the sat nav and then add wheels if and when you can afford it.

The sat-nav (and other functions like audio controls etc that come with it) really make the car.

I chose sat-nav over wheels and I am not regreting it at all.

Its a damn racing car and who needs SAT/NAV? Everyone sees your weels but few your sat nav, go for Rages, awesome improovement to looks!
The Rages really suit the car, especially NHB!

go for the SatNav, I did and I'm not regretting it.

Anyhow, you might see some other aftermarket wheels u like other than Rages. Especially if u want your car to look a little bit different.

SAT NAV, deffo!

It adds that little something over the non-sat nav version, with better controls for your climate control and audio. The voice control is a bit naff, but i'm a brummy and it works ok for me. The nav threw me to start with (i was a tomtom user) but i'm used to it now and it's not let me down yet...

The HFT is OK, not brilliant, but better than ripping the car apart to fit one later on.

Rages look mint, but give it 12 months and they'll be available on ebay (thats what i told myself anyway!)

As far as the ipod connector goes, i see no evidence of a better all-round cheaper solution so far (i await my flaming!).

It's an expensive toy, but if you add up a decent tomtom, hft, 7" screen, & fitting, i bet you wont be far off!
