I would say JP's bulbs unfortunately, maybe I've been unlucky but just about every set has died within 1-4 weeks, most were replaced but now Ive had so many replacements I've moved onto another supplier who's bulbs haven't skiped a beat so far.

(JP headlights, sidelights, interior front lights and rear numberplate lights have all failed, some up to three times)

He does give good service though, and a lot other members are happy with what they have.

I just couldnt tell a difference to be honest. I felt more of a difference removing the securing nut and screwing the gear knob lower.

Hondata Reflash, no doubt!!

Yet to install my Mugen shifter, hope I wont be disapointed.... im just expecting a shorter throw, nothing else.... even to the new TWM one looks very good.

Why are people listing Hondata Flashpro as a bad mod?

hey ash, from what i can remember when they were first on the market, there was a diagram showing the throw been 10mm shorter in each direction, therfore giving a shorter gear change. to me a quickshift gearshift would be like a sequential box.

I agree with you just found three of them have failed again waiting to hear back if these will be replaced at the price of them thought they would last but had nothing but probs with them

I have to agree, surely the flash pro isn't a mod itself its more of a gateway to allow you to change the parameters of the ecu, therefore the map its self should be to blame and that is down to the user to select. The group N is a talking point in itself but surely you should list your particular map rather than the flash pro module otherwise you could also blame the laptop :S

I agree, the GN map isnt supposed to be the first and last thing in performance. I think its great that they put one on in the first place! Otherwise no one would be running this "inbetween" map while amassing parts ready for a full tune.

I think its also quite good as you can run a race manifold, which cant be done on standard ECU settings, giving the GN map quite an advantage as to if you should have it or not.

The Flash Pro isn't a bad mod lol... it's probably the best MOD available to a type-r...

The GroupN map is the worst mod.

x2 on this ash

Almost no difference from the stock one. Much better to buy a heavier shift knob!
The different feeling after the install is due to the lubrification of the new kit that goes away after some miles.

Interesting how no one has mentioned any Mugen parts bought, as we know theyre very very expensive, no one has any regrets about wings/grills/bonnets/suspension/gagues/GP's etc....

Must be worth it

(in terms of cost/enjoyment, the query about Mugen above was due to a numpty company fitting and spraying )

If you only listened the first time you wouldn't have all this hassle of a crappy garage fitting your parts incorrectly not lining anything up missing the brackets of the mugen spoiler & not fitting the seal strips ???? So what happens water floods in ? Grille ain't lined up properly & didn't fit back the arches properly I could go on but I could see you were a bit peeved when i was pointing things out ti you but it will be sorted & I won't stand there like the bodyshop bloke & scratch my head & say I didn't realise or is that what them brackets & bolts are for & them speed clips didn't know they where for the grille what a Numpty
