Not true - the City Pack is an option on the Type R (£500 I think)
It consists of:
How well they protect the car is another question. The side strips may prevent some door dinks though. They look quite good though. There's more info here: City pack for Type R |

My mistake! I was just going off the Honda blurb:
http://www.hondauk-media.co.uk/prote...C_RA56_FFB.pdf http://www.hondauk-media.co.uk/prote...N_RV07_YTZ.pdf Not listed for the R. But then on the access site, it is here! Honda Accessories Car and Motorcycle - Honda Access Europe NV citypack2.jpg |

The city pack consists of side door moulding strips which protect the side from door knocks, also small moulding on the bumpers, these are colour coded. Sorry cant find any pictures.

Yup. City Pack is the extra protection for front, side and back of Type-R, and costs around £500.
Took me a few minutes to hunt these pics out, so enjoy: This link shows a silver FN2 with City Pack: The chronicles of Civic; the dirt, the soap and the pictures Compare this to a silver FN2 without it: Silver Civic Type R Pictures Personally, I like the extra details they add to the car - make it look more aggressive. |

HID headlights are not only NOT standard on UK CTRs, they are not even available as an option
even though other markets do get them. |

I guess it might be a 2008 model spec change that we haven't heard about - but as of last month you couldn't get them on a UK spec R... |

Right OK, I've just called my main dealer where I've ordered my car from, and the salesman was nt too sure but he has informed me that it does not come with HID lamps. HID lamps are only on ELX and the S2000 models.
