*Mugen* Rear Wing on Ebay

I recognise this car from this forum, is the seller on here?

Is the wing genuine? I doubt it for that price and with the minor cosmetic issues, but I could be wrong?

Link:

*EDIT by FWH - Link to fake Mugen part on ebay removed*

It's fake.

I have already removed a For Sale thread on here and two other threads linking to the ebay sale.

This time I have only removed the link, in order to avoid more threads with a link and in order to make people aware that it is not genuine.

However, the link needs to be removed as we cannot be part of facilitating the sale of fake products.

Counterfeit goods policy

Thank you for understanding.

I emailed the seller lastnight asking if it's genuine as it's not far from me, i haven't heard anything back yet and when i saw this thread i thought my secret bargain was being shown to the world but im glad i've found out it's a fake, just means spending twice the pennies.

Ive just sold mine and i reckon the going rate is around £1,000 for a genuine second hand one... Unfortunately if you want one you have to pay big £££ for it

I think it's the usual case of "if something sounds too good to be true..".

If you have the genuine rear wing do you still have the brake light on the spoiler im sure i read you lose it or is that on the fake wing, i've just looked at a picture of guitaralmonds and his has the brake light still, but i've seen wings with no brake light.

The brake light isn't on the spoiler, it's under the perspex - so as the spoilers bolt onto this it should be retained.

Wow learn something new everyday so with the mugen one you get the wing and the spoiler that's on there at the minute or do you get the wing and that fits to your original spoiler.

Its all one piece. I have one of the fake ones on my milano and it looks fine. No issues with fitting either.

Obviously we cant advertise them on here

The original spoiler comes off, and the new wing goes on in it's place.

Thanks people. I knew it was too good to be true. If it was real surely they'd have sold it on here, no fees and an easy sale for at least £850..

I can't see how they want 500 quid for it if it's fake as on eBay the fakes are only 100 odd

Yeha, the fin's adjustable on the real ones.

The one I know off, it's £150 for the item, another £150 just for postage. Then you'll probably be hit with import tax, not sure how much that is. Some people on here have then spent up to £300 on painting and prep work to get it to a half decent standard.

So anywhere between £300 to £600-£700 for a fake..... No thanks

So £500 second hand probably reflects the amount they had to spend on it.

The fake ones i have found are 350+ tax on ebay for the mugan wing

I paid 500 for mine and then 75 to spray it and 30 to get the adjustable wing carbon wrapped so 600 for something that is over 1k when on the car

Just had a reply from the seller they are saying it is genuine as they got it off a forum and the fin does move. So do the fakes move then or is it genuine

The seller is a member on here and I have been advised by others on here that it isn't real so it's a shame if they are advising people it is when it's not.

I don't know the facts so I may be wrong but I know who the seller is and hopefully they will be able to clear it all up...
