Type R Steering Noise

Hey all

Just wanted a little bit of advice on a problem with my car. I purchased it 2 weeks ago, I absolutely love it but I have noticed a problem with it

When I turn the steering wheel full lock in a tight space (3 Point turn) it makes a LOUD noise occasionally, the best I can describe it as is like a crane (?lol).

I got the car from a Vauxhall main dealer, so I have a Vauxhall warranty, and handily there is a Honda garage next to the Vauxhall dealer I would take it to so I was planning on asking them before hand, but just looking to see if anybody on here has any ideas on what it might be.

Cheers

btw Wil it's a known fault.

Most people do experience it. it's quote simply fixed and is a warranty job... It's known to Honda but i'm not sure if Vauxhall we be aware, but i'm sure with your guidance they will

Only thing to fix now is the Radio - i mean its by no means "bad" but the reception is just a bit iffy at times. Also a known fault.

What is required to fix the front subframe? I'm thinking some people might need to know this if their warranty has run out

The required fix is to remove the front subframe bolts one at a time and use a thin material to introduce a long lasting grease where the subframe and car meet, something like a slim of metal or a heavy duty card etc. then retorque the bolts.

It's not a hard job if you are confident and down with the kids imo.
