This obviously fitted the bill.

Hatters are gona hate. But people shouldn't rule out sumat just because it dosnt say milltek or HKS.

Got a email back from Jp so will fit the sensor spacer later.

I admire your way of thinking. I'm also like that. Sometimes it's all about branding as a fan or company, most of the time I guess. Theres also valid reviews behind the statements, but this doesn't mean theres options to consider and try to validate likewise. This mod is very common in Austria and Germany for all sort of cars. I'm willing to try it or the midsilencer mod. And your review will help me out on this one. Big thanks for giving this feedback.

I had the decat without mapping..although it felt faster the dyno stated differently..

Id recommend you get it mapped or dyno to see if the car isnt running lean because thats what a decat could do..

Ill ad a pic it is quite long.

I searched all over the forum for info on a decat and only found 1 thread from 2008 and it was a guy in Africa.

I checked the plugs before and after and they didn't change colour so hopefully will be alright.

Hi mate, the O2 sensor spacer doesn't fit, not enough room

Does the Subaru one fit then?

Just a long shot here, you could always get a Flashpro, get it remapped and turn the sensor reading off so you don't get the EML.

I've ordered one of these already, but if my fix works then I won't need this L shaped spacer ..

Why don't you all just ask advice from TDI/ABP?
