I was gonna get 1 a while back Dave before Marcins Junk2 came up. OEM reliability etc. Definitely a good TB for big NA/ charged set ups if you can make it suit the charger.

Manifolds will need opened up for sure

How would you get the pipe from the air box to the TB to fit over it? I presume it would need a custom pipe making?

What cams are you using? I think I saw on K20 org that one guy lost power with it as it was just too much air for his cams!

Just a question, but how could the engine take in too much air? as when the valves open air fills the available space.. you cant over fill a cylinder? or could this be related to too denser air going in?

and that throttle body comes on a few other Acuras with V6's I think, would make a pretty good oem equivalent to the skunk2 one.

Something like a custom intake pipe?

I guess to get the full benefit of the bigger TB you'd need to bore out the exit from the Tegiwa intake and use a 78mm hose / pipe all the way to the TB?

I'm not sure, that was just what I was reading, the guy lost a few HP and he put it down to the TB being too big?

On mild cams the airmass will lose speed at low rpms due to the diameter being large . Things should be different up top

All that really matters is the TB outlet size - not the inlet size. So this is in effect a 70mm TB. I got good gains everywhere when I fitted my S2 72mm TB (although I am using A3 cams).

MW - that's amazing torque for an MA set up!
