I was gonna get 1 a while back Dave before Marcins Junk2 came up. OEM reliability etc. Definitely a good TB for big NA/ charged set ups if you can make it suit the charger.
Manifolds will need opened up for sure |

How would you get the pipe from the air box to the TB to fit over it? I presume it would need a custom pipe making?

What cams are you using? I think I saw on K20 org that one guy lost power with it as it was just too much air for his cams!

and that throttle body comes on a few other Acuras with V6's I think, would make a pretty good oem equivalent to the skunk2 one. |

Something like a custom intake pipe?
I guess to get the full benefit of the bigger TB you'd need to bore out the exit from the Tegiwa intake and use a 78mm hose / pipe all the way to the TB? Quote:

On mild cams the airmass will lose speed at low rpms due to the diameter being large . Things should be different up top

All that really matters is the TB outlet size - not the inlet size. So this is in effect a 70mm TB. I got good gains everywhere when I fitted my S2 72mm TB (although I am using A3 cams).
MW - that's amazing torque for an MA set up! |
