not good, but at least you're not alone, and many owners say that it resolves itself over time

see above post about city pack

ditto post above

take it back to the dealer and ask for some groves!
seriously though, the lines of the Civic are quite flush, so there is nowhere for the water to go apart from in through the window.
Check out the wind deflector thread in buying if it is a real issue for you.

You would mess around with you car's brakes because "other cars have bigger rear brake-disks"? Is this a "mine's bigger than yours"-thing? We're talking about your car's ability to stop. I would not mess around with it for looks, definately!
I don't want to sound like your dad , and I don't think there anything wrong with optical tuning, but keep in mind that you still have to control 200 horses. A fast 0-60 time is nice, but a fast 60-0 time could make the difference one day.
I remember an other thread here where someone litteraly said that it was thanks to the CTR's great brakes that the damage was "only" what it was.

And price-wise: Don't know how much a CTR is there, but where do you get 200 PS in such a nice package for that price? Here it's really competitive priced. (Probably since you have to add 2500 euro's taxes because of the abundant horses ).

The 3rd gear issue is a Honda UK build issue. Honda South Africa is paying to fix mine. Here's an internal bulletin from Honda http://www.tleone.com/A08-020.pdf. Hope this helps!

Have you never pulled on the handbrake while turning? (if NO then never try it on any road, find a very empty car park with lots & lots of room)

Putting bigger discs on the back without upgrading the front will produce a very similar effect.
