You said it, not me!

But on another point I don't care how cold the knob gets, that car is amazing! I've only just stopped driving since I picked it up! Going out again in a few mins

What number did you finally get Angie?
First time I can remember not getting mad in a long traffic jam!
Sadly cannot find enough spare time to drive it. Still not managed 1K miles yet but hopefully find more time over the week end.

I got 9279 but on the up side I got an 08 model. Dimplyred got a higher number than mines, but his was at his dealers 5 or 6 days before mines which is strange

I'm finding loads of time to drive the car like in about 15 mins when i'm out my bed, washed and dressed then i'll go get the papers from somewhere far I think he he

I only picked mines up on Friday and yes you will probably have a number over 10,000 but then again maybe not! As you may have read Dimplyreds CTR arrived about 5days before mines and has a higher number than mines!

I have to admit that I have, but by accident! Some silly woman was doing 40mph in a MX-5 in the outside lane of the Edinburgh City bypass, which is a 70mph road, so I had to undertake as she was refusing to move over when there was nothing in the inside lane! I knocked it down and suddenly realised the vtec light came on. Oops!

I thought you had been driving none stop. How come you've only clocked up 150 miles?

I'm in the car loads but stuck in traffic for most of it! Grr! But i don't mind being stuck in traffic in that thing, its great! Only went 7 miles earlier and it took 30mins. Its just madness on the roads and when its wet the traffic seems to grind to a halt!

Get yourself out of the city at the weekend and give it some, staying under 5200 rpm of course!!!

I live near some great driving roads, shame the weather was pants at the weekend though

I must admit though I quite like the attention around town, getting some looks in it

Yeah here's hoping! What i've ordered is exactly the same as yours apart from sat nav, perhaps that will make a difference.
Never know I might get number 10,000 or 9999 - that would be cool!
Pretty sad that im worried about getting a number over 10,000 but its hard not to get worked up about this car, 3 months wait is killing me!

I live out on the coast and there is many great roads for driving, just not been ideal with the wet weather....I don't want to write it off! But I did take it along a nice strech of road, the road towards North Berwick if anyone knows it......Its great for taking the car along and I can confirm that it sticks like glue to the road!

I thought the Mini held to the road well, but this is even better. Its fantastic! I will however be making a long trip tonight, so that will put a fair few miles on the clock, bringing me ever closer to that wonderful 650 mark! He he!
