I think it looks ok, but needs to be seen in context, ie back on the car, for full effect. I would like to see, and have thought about trying, to tint the front grill perspex as an alternative to the Type R mod.

Thought the Poster of this Thread owns a CTR So I am bamboozled as to why you would want to add that to it?

Nobody in their right mind would actually buy one of them and do that just for the hell of it or am I the only one who thinks that?

May I commend you on your paint skills. It would seem that you make a better job of painting that plastic grill better than Honda make of painting the whole car!

I must admit that my inital thoughts for the CTR would still be the plastic grill, clear also with the Red H in the middle......looking a bit like a trophy cabinet lol!

I'd love to see it on a car. I'm assuming it's not going on a Vivid Blue :P

Would you be surprised if it did??
Why not go the whole hog and paint the wheels a different colour at each corner; the bonnet yellow perhaps

cheers for the comments guys + gals.
the front bumper has to come off to get the grille off so this is prob going to happen around my xmas break when i got five minutes.
i wasnt to impressed with the outcome but that is one out of the two i had planned for the grille, placed against the car it looks surprisingly ok,if i dont put it on the plan 2,respray the outer clear plastic and the strategically insert 3/4 vents in it with black mesh behind.

well there are people out there who would just do it for the hell of it,i've always chopped and changed everything i've had(except the missus)get bored of things real quick.
i only had my fn2 for 7weeks and it had 3 different sets of alloys on it.
if i dont like it then i throw it out or flog it for pennies.
you never know unless you try.

I think it makes a difference from everyone having a Type R grill, which honestly to me is a waste of: time, money and effort (as your only ever gonna get little pr*cks going "Huuu, you wanna make out it's a Type R don' you.....[stupid vacant stare following]").

I think it looks different and fresh.
