Yeah...Nice one .. It says one of the negative points is that some drivers cant see the Spedo because of the Steering Wheel??? .. How small would you have to be to have that problem.....

Surprising how expensive the other maker's cars are and interesting that the Civic's handling is rated on a par to the focus which seems to constantly raved about in car mags etc

Don`t worry about it,as long as you don`t loose the steering wheel.

Good to see that the Focus isnt as semingly wonderful as we are led to believe. Also goo dto see that they tested an 07 MY car against the new focus (not that there is a lot of differenece). What does get me is the basic level of journalism in these articles. The writer goes on about great loading space, folding flat seats etc yet totally neglects to mention the fold up seats in the civic, one of its greatest storage assets.....plank.

Interesting you should say that because if you look at the Toyota Auris forum you can read plenty of moans and groans especially about HANDBRAKES RELEASING and other things

I worked in the trade long enough to know that there is no such thing as a perfect or near perfect car - Whatever make and more importantly whatever the manufacturer or Press may say

Let's face it - if you were Ford, you'd want to try and hide the results

Hi Jazzman - Still wearing your rose tint specs. So you had to buy a £100 space saver which Honda should have provided in the first place and fog light protectors, I assume to keep the cracked lenses from falling out.
Are you boasting about having had to buy the aforementioned, or complaining? You certainly set your aspirations below the parapet - Invest in a copy of 'Which' magazine and make an educated choice next time.
Sorry, couldn't resist, but you make yourself a sitting duck.

Eddie, yes the guy with the Volkswagen Jetta, all inclusive big boy's car, Baseball caps not necessary.

Civic's the best car and best driving machine I've had,and I've had a few-If it did'nt make the grade it'd be gone same way my Alfa 159 and previous gen.Civic type S went.

P.S my partner's MK3 Golf TDI drove me to distraction with its seemingly never ending list of occuring faults.

Never mind,if that DSG gearbox is half as good as it sounds, one day,in the right model could be tempted to a VW myself, although I suspect eventually Honda will go one better still with the Civic.

Hi Eddie
Oh dear just because you are biased against our wonderful spaceship it does`nt mean the rest of the world has to be. There are many more happy Spaceship owners that are are genuinely happy with their cars as I am so are they all wearing "rose tint specs".
