Thanks Wheelchair excellent review.

I was worried about the boot being smaller than my last Civic, "5 Door 98" so this was the first thing I checked, putting my buggy in I couldn't believe how much extra space there was. Heat is also a problem for me so the climate control sounds as if it will be really useful "if it ever warms up" Can,t wait for Thursday when I pick it up

The boot's huge! The best way to keep cool is to run the aircon manually, keep it on Lo and it just gets cooler and cooler.

Glad you enjoyed the review, disabled needs don't get that much coverage, though I'd do something about it!

The boot is Huge as wheelchair says. The back doors also open at 90 degrees and with the magic seats up you can fit a regular wheel chai in ther easily.

The climate control works well and the car heats very quickly, just as well at the moment as you know.

The magic rear seats look like they could be really useful when shopping or the like, no worry about having the buggy in the back as well.
Excellent

Remember, even with the rear seats in their normal position you can still store items under the seat base.

very interesting post as said, covers many points, that wouldnt normally be thought of. One to be considered is the depth of the side cushions on the seats....type r seats etc, yes very good at holding u snug in the seat, but becomes a little issue when transferring into/ out of the car with little or no movement in your lower body (can be restrictive). Again tho, the non type-r and type-s civics, deal with this pretty good, while remaining a comfortable seat.

thanks for the reply to the pm wheelchair. Very usual post. and yes will be buying the honda through the highest rate DLA.

Hi everyone.

Great thread. I'm in the process of changing my Motability car. I currently have a 06 Jazz and have loved it so really wanted another Honda, but needed a bigger boot.
Its great to read a review like this and like someone said earlyer why can't whatca/auto express do somthing simular!

Thanks Wheelchair and co
