Every set of my Altimo's have had the problem, and not one of the wheels was scruffed or scratched. I take great pride in not damaging my alloys as know how expensive they are to replace and nothing looks worse than a scuffed alloy on a kerb. That feeling is awful!

UK road salt does not do this to all alloys, so the problem has to be with specific ones.
course you can disagree...didnt mention kerbing as i havent kerbed mine and plenty others i have seen have had no damage other than tiny chips from dirt, salt etc and its not just altimos...so er,it does.you can be as careful as possible but unfortunately you will never stop your wheels getting chipped...although the diamond cut finish is admittedly less resistant as the only protection is lacquer not paint and lacquer as with a lot of other wheels.

How come some people's Altimo's don't get affected by this and others do?

That is what annoys me, it isn't as if every single person with Altimo's have this problem.

I like the style of the Altimo's and even if Honda offered me another type like the Storms I would still want the Altimo's as look much more sportier.

However if this 3rd set do the same then I am going to have to part ways with them due to the warranty expiring. I don't want to be left with blistering wheels.

This could be to do with the type of roads you travel on which is the same with the paintwork.

If you mainly potter about at 30 or 40 then you will suffer little damage, but if like me your daily journey is 80% at 70mph then you are going to suffer.

Those wheels are turning faster and the leading edges are where they go first ?
