front pads 08-

why have honda changed the front brake pads on the 08- civic i work for a
honda dealership and drive a 2.2 sport the 08 pads are nearley £60.00 + vat the earlier pads are only £38.30 + vat have quiried this with honda but have had no reply

Maybe the new ones don´t wear out as quickly?

I expect they are the same pads but they are charging more!!
Wouldnt surprise me!!
When mine are worn. I'll be replacing them with 'better' and cheaper pads at my local independant garage.
