Question Type R wheel cap

Hi guys,

Does anyone knows where can i found the Type R wheel caps (The cap on the centre of the wheel with the red H)?
I have a Type S and i want to replace my wheel caps (blacks) with the red caps of the Type R.
I asked my dealer, and said that this part isn't available.
I also searched the Ebay, and I couldn't find something.

What do you think?

There are these two listings on ebay, one ends quite soon, and you would have to contact them to see if they would ship to Greece.

Genuine Honda Civic Type R Alloy Wheel Centres X 4 on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 03-Mar-08 21:44:38 GMT)

HONDA CIVIC TYPE R ALLOY WHEEL CENTRE CAPS X 4 ORIGINAL on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 10-Mar-08 19:20:55 GMT)

If these are from the oldest Civic, will these caps match to my Type S?

The ones in the second link are 68 mm diameter. Measure one of yours.

I've just checked and the ones on my CTR wheels they are 68 mm, so I suspect yours are too

Probably cheaper at the dealers, have you tried asking ? Ebay is becoming to be a rip off.

Even though its only a little bit of plastic I think the dealers charge near enough £20 for just the one

Partno. for the Civic Type R wheel cap:
44732-S6M-Z10ZA

Price would be around 18 GBP each

Normally a dealer should be able to see this partno and order it.

The dealer told me that these are not imported in Greece as parts

If I can't find these R wheel caps, I'm thinking to put a sticker (with the red H and the outline) in my caps to cover up the original black H.
I don't think that there will be any problem due to washes, water and things like that, and if these stickers will be a good job, then the caps will look as the Type R 's

Why don't you all ask the guy who produces the side decals to make some round stickers to the exact size to stick onto your original centre caps.

http://www.civinfo.com/forum/members/conrad-67.html

I'm sure he could.

Good one Dimplyred..I was just about to say that... You could try this guy, or you could just go into a local Computer Sign Makers and they should be able to help you, thats what I work at and its easily done... Might have a go at this myself . When I get a chance I will do the art work for it, and if anyone wants to do this I could e-mail it to them, all they would have to do is take it along to the Sign Makers and they could cut it in 10mins...

At least Honda aint like Mini. Cooper S specific parts like the chrome side indicators with the S in them can only be ordered from the dealer if you own a Cooper S and they charged £4 for a Stick on badge. But now I know why the folk on Ebay are saying that these Honda center caps are rare items if some countrys cant get them
