In the wods of Victor Meldrew..
"I don't believe it!"
Had the car a week, yesterday I scuffed an alloy which wasn't too bad because it was already in need of some repair. Then this morning I was giving a lift to someone and pointing out where I scuffed the wheel...and scuffed another one at the same corner. Argh! That's the problem the 18"s there's so little tyre wall you catch it on everything. I will wait a few months whilst I get used to the turning circle before I get it fixed, otherwise it will be a complete waste of time. The blade alloy I have is odd, its a darker finish but the layers underneath are black, I've never seen that before. I'm about to do an experiment with poorboys, I will wax (what's left) of the alloys on one side and see if it makes a difference with cleaning. People passing through Sale, Cheshire - watch out for the lane of shops on Washway road where the video store is. The kerbs are deadly!! |

Oh, dear. I know, you feel like crying!
So sorry to hear of your problem. I've looked (and we've had several threads on this) to find a dark silver aluminium touch-in, but with no luck. I would have thought Honda would have capitalised on this and brought out a touch-in pen for wheels! Why not, Honda! |
