The brakes work....

Drove round a corner on a fairly fast stretch of A road today only to find a tractor and trailer blocking the whole road. Had to brake hard - and i mean HARD. The car stopped very quickly and completely in control. Felt the ABS come on and was vaguely aware of some lights come on on the dash. All in all i was very impressed with how the car handled under hard braking |

thats good too hear, people have been complaining about the R not having Brembos but personally i feel the brakes are more than sufficient for everyday driving and Brembos are just for bragging rights ! glad that your ok and nothing happened.

thanks Neemstar
I agree about the Brembos - would be worth it if you use your car on trackdays etc but otherwise standard ones do their job very well. I trust them completely now. The car just stopped and with no big drama |

Had someone ride out on a push bike in front of me yesterday, was doing 60 on a 60 stretch and they just rode out without looking, the VSA is a truly greta thing.
