Tyre Other Locking wheel bolts

Seeing a couple of recent threads reminded me...

If you are due to have your tyres changed:
1) Make sure you have your locking wheel nut bolt

2) If the above fails (

), make sure you visit your local Honda dlr before the tyre fitters...

(you get the idea)

Apparently, the likes of AA / RAC have tools to get locking bolts off, but most tyre centres don't

However, your local Honda dlr might be able to sort you out a new (fitting) lock bolt on the spot - at a very reasonable £7.50

alledegly, apparently, and no of course I don't know this from first hand experience of "oh poo, which safe place did I put that?"

I always remove them and fit the standard bolts. This is because they were once overtightened by a garage and had to be destroyed to remove them.
