The dealer is putting in a warranty claim as he's just as gobsmacked as me !

I haven't noticed this before as I just didn't expect anything like this !!!!
See if you can get some of those ABP huge brake discs on the Civic!

Do you use the brakes much from high speed?

Rusty Disc Brakes

is this normal if you have not moved your car for a while and how quickly does the rust come off?

Glad I searched for this before I posted asking about it

I too was wondering as I noticed the rust on the discs yesterday and was horrified that there was rust on the car when I'd only had it 2 weeks!

I can rest easy now

Hi all. Rear brake discs did get changed under warranty. Dealer took photos of rear discs & Honda didn't quibble about them at all & sent replacement discs. The damage was like realy deep scores around the face of the discs? Wish I'd took photos to put on here to show you all. No high speed braking or heavy braking, hardly any wear on the pads at all.
Another Civic problem looming? Hate to think what that would have cost out of warranty!!

Car has gone now, traded in for something that, HOPEFULLY, won't give me as much trouble!! Couldn't face those repair bills out of warranty!!!
NOT A HONDA BY THE WAY!!!!
