New Type S noisy brakes.

Just picked up my new Type S today.
Loving the car, super sexy.Slight small dint in the door but will talk to the dealer about that tomorrow.

One thing that slightly concerns me is i'm getting a sound now and again like a grinding or whinning.Sounds like its coming from the brakes, wheels.

Anyone else had this ?

Is it possibly just brakes etc bedding themself in ?

Brake pads have a coating on when new, so they will make a strange noise. Take it easy on the brakes (and the cornering - for the tyres) for the first few hundred miles and all will be fine.

Mention it to the dealer when you inform them of the dent, just to be on the safe side.

As Pottsy says though they will need to bed in for a while so take it easy.
