19" Rage alloys who can fix them

I need to get 3 of my 19" alloys repaired. 2 Have pretty bad scuff but the local repair shop say they can fill them in and re lacquer the alloys but you'll notice its different cos the face of the rage alloys are machine finished before lacquer is applied.

I've been told that in order to make them as new you need to blast the wheel back to the alloys, repair the damage, paint the whole wheel then machine the face of the alloys and then you get a new looking wheel. Is this true and if so has anyone had this done and if so where?

Please help

Thanks

Richard

You can get them fixed but the polished lip will make it cost prohibitive. Thet can be fixed nad painted tho

Try these chaps out, they will be able to re-finish your wheels and are very good.

Yeah its been reported that you will be without your alloy(s) for upto two weeks and its a rather costly service, so costly that most guys just tell you to buy new alloys.....so that should give you an indication of how expensive they will be to repair.

This was what was told to my mate when he called his local repair guy about his 18's. First question was 'Are they the 19's' then 'Good cause the wheels are machined, need to be sent away for about two weeks and its actually cheaper to buy a new alloy'

You could get them them repaired and powder coated.

Stella had white powder coated Rages, before it was stolen, but you could get them done in silver. It would be a lot cheaper.

Stolen - Milano Fn2. Registration N14RCF - TTS Performance Silverstone.

Any more pics. I'm liking the look of those. Any more shots including the car? How did they get the centre covers white too?

Found a company who will refurb the wheels for £65 plus vat each which is a very very good price.

Well Millie has been Stolen as you may have seen, so whoever has her would be able to tell you. Stella could comment on how easy they were to keep clean but then he did clean the car every three days I think.

I'm sure that they will be like the original finish of the rage wheels at the moment that a quick spray and the dirt and brake dust just comes off no probs.
