Flaking paint on Pentas

Just cleaned my Civ, got to the N/S front wheel and with horror thought 'B*gger me, I've kerbed it!". However upon closer inspection it seems as though patches of paint have been rubbed off/peeled away between the tyre bead and the inside of the wheel, flaking and now intruding to the visible wheel edge itself. Going to dealers tomorrow, anyone else experienced this flakey paint?

Stealer has examined the wheel and taken the usual photos, didn't look surprised, now down to HUK but I have been assured that "there will be no problem getting a new wheel under warranty".

We will see!

Don't worry. I had all 4 changed on mine. HUK know there is an issue with certain wheels.

They just change the wheel like for like and send the faulty one back to the manufacturers.
