Nah, don't see the point really. Under that bonnet is already compact and fiddly enough without adding to it. The Strut brace on the RX8 drives me mantal when trying to check/top up oil cause its in such a akward place.

I do admit that I had considered it until I looked into the engine bay. The JCW one for the Mini did look good, i'm just not convinced on the CTR

It will add weight.

Notice how it curves around the bodyshell which is already acting as a perfect brace. And besides, a brace will not be effective if it is curved - and that thing looks like a banana.

Not needed on the Civ, owing to the shape of the bodyshell.

Strut Brace

If your Euro Civic is built anything like my FG2, the car is already rigid enough. Those bars, and braces don't really do anything at all to our cars, and are pretty much a waste of money. Unless, of course, your car is a dedicated track machine, and every .012837 of a second counts.

i think i read somewhere that honda has kind of built the car so there is no need for this - the rigidity of the car- i dont remember where, maybe 5th gear or topgear mag or something. or even honda.. i forgot
