Tyre Pricing - what have you paid...

Sorry if this is going over old ground, I was just wondering that it would be and idea to collate the price people have been charged for a new tyre.

I have just been quoted £89 ex vat (about £110 inc) a corner fitted and balanced by my local Tyre place. The Tyres are the same as fitted as standard to my standard 17inch EX rims.

Also if anyone has tried other tyre brands/type out it would be nice to collate some of your input also.

Cheers

Elis

BTW, the cheapest tyre I could find for the civic is a Nexen N 3000 225/45/17W for £64.79 fully fitted from blackcircles.com

Cheapest bridgestone i could find is £110.67 fully fitted from the same place!

Another 'Nod' for michelins here. Combination of qrip and wear rate. There will be stickier, and there will be tyres that last longer, but then you compromise the other.....

COSTCO do the Pilot Sports(2) for £104........... 17in
£120............ 18in

ofcourse you need to be a member though.
