Brake refurb

Have just changed my disc and pads on the rear of my type r, and while i had the calipers off thought i'd refurbish them, thought id share the results ( which i must say i'm very happy with ).

Very nice. What discs and brakes did you go for? Had my front calipers painted the other day.

Thanks for all your comments, glad you like the results. To answer your question went for standard MTEC disc with there black coating on and there own pads. Disconnected the handbrake cable and took of the caliper completely. Used a wire wheel on a drill to remove any old paint and rust. Sprayed on the primer and the top coat with car spray ( milano red ) to match the car and then a clear laquer over it to protect the paint. Going to do the front next weekend same again with the calipers and use MTEC drilled disc with brembo pads. Also order a full set of Hel braded lines and replace them.
