new alloys

Been looking at the gallery and would like to upgrade my alloys, 2.2 i-ctdi es alabaster silver and was just wondering if you upgrade do you get both sets of alloys maybe a stupid question but first new car i have owned ,was thinking it would be good idea to put the other ones on in winter.The 18 inch storms look great .thanks for any info.

18" storms are fab

but if you tick them as an upgrade at time of ordering (and therefore cost around £850), no, you don't get the 'normal' wheels too I'm afraid

buying them seperately afterwards means you end up with 2 sets of wheels - but the cost roughly doubles.

I guess they keep the price down at time of order by offsetting the cost of the wheels you're not having.

if that makes sense.

TTDegs is spot on, if you order alloys at time of car then the car is sourced with the alloy upgrade, hence the £850 price tag for 18" wheels/tyres. Should you buy the car and decide to change alloys after leaving the showroom then you pay full price circa £1700 but you will gain another set of alloys, like you say, possibly use the original set as winter wheels.

I upgraded at time of order so was charged £850 for 18" blades

Cheers guys for the info, the storms do look great but too pricey i,ve stuck with the original wheels ,been to see the car today and am now getting very excited ,looked brilliant 1st of march cannot come fast enough cheers .
