No problems with mine, although I didn't pay extra for fancy ones (yet!) so take them back and demand they be sorted!

My car is going in tomorrow to get the boot struts fixed, and I have asked the dealer to take pictures of the blistering of the rear alloys and send them on to Honda UK. I have asked for all 4 alloys to be replaced as there is clearly a problem with them.

My old Hyundai Accent had the same problem and had a new set put on under warranty.

My Civic is an 06 plate, how old are everyone else's alloys which started to blister?

Also has anyone got a 2nd set and had the problem re occur?

Mines 55 reg and i've got 3 wheels that are blistering, took it to Honda only to be told that i would get another set of wheels that are reconditioned. All honda do is respray the wheels and ship them back out. I've curbed one of my wheels that has blistered and was told that i may need to give a contribution. Has anyone else had these problems or have you had a brand new set of wheels?

Up to now not had any problems with the alloys, will have to keep an eye on them with the number of problems posted up to now.
Wonder if its just a batch that have gone wrong !

I have my 06 Civic booked in tomorrow to have the wheels replaced. Unsure if they are replacing all 4, as the blistering is only on the rear 2 at the moment!

I will let you know tomorrow!

Just dropped my Civic off, and all 4 wheels are getting replaced.

I am very happy with that as the previous owener had curbed the 2 front wheels which were unaffected from corrosion in a visible sense.

It is only the rear wheels that you can see the blistering, so I am very happy

Also the 4 new Altimo's look slightly darker than the last lot. It looks like a thicker layer of lacquer has been applied.

This set of wheels also has a seriel number on each wheel and also has the markings like the picture in a post above. The damaged ones didn't.
