New tyre at only 2500 miles
Went to work this morning to find a large screw stuck well into the tyre. Its half into the sidewall and half into main. Going to tyre place in morning to see if its leaking or not. Its not repairable either so if it is leaking im gonna have to chuck a virtually brand new tyre away and spend over £100 on another.
Not happy!!!! |

Better to have a safe set on boots on though.
If it gets repaired it could fail and cost a lot more. Just an unlucky thing to get one like that, but to be on the safe side check the other three. Last time I did I found a similar nail in a rear tyre. |

no it cant be repaired. But gonna pull the screw out in the morning and see if the tyre is letting out air. The tyre people said today that i might just be lucky.
Anyway if it goes flat ive always got a spare wheel to rely on!! Cough Cough |

Be careful if you pull the screw out and it leaks you need to get it fixed immediately. Best to check the tyre place has a tyre and all that crap and only pull it out when you're there. You don't want to use the glue or run with a t-tyre if you have one

ive left the screw in now. It does not appear to be leaking as tyrehas not lost any psi. I might just be lucky but will monitor it often over the next few days.
