Not cheap though! £900 is pretty steep although I guess they do come with new tyres.

Yeah thats what I thought. A touch expensive, but everyone seems to have big stiffies over these particular 17'' wheels!!! So I put a post out there....

I'd go for them if they were a bit cheaper. 17 storms are a pretty good compromise in terms of ride and style.

Noticed it too, though strange they didn't advertise it on here.

Not exactly advertised by themselves, but.......

BTW: Holdcroft have a set of 17" storms with tyres for £1000. Unfortunately we have since bought a 3pc suite so I am out of the running, but am willing to hand out the details if people require them!
From 17" Storms in UK - Group buy?

Either you misread it as £100 instead of £1000, or they've realised they meant to put £1000, but for some reason have made it £990.
That'll probably be that Martin one again, who was put in the cupboard for forgetting to quote a THAOC member the correct price, and not retail!

Guys,

I saw these 17'' storms on ebay whilst searching for a decent set of 17's. They were always listed for £990. After a month or so and several times outbid on various sets, I got myself a great set for £200. I then sent a quick email to the guy who had these, advising him that noone was gonna pay that much for them! He relisted them for £899, prehaps thinking I would buy them, obviously not! So I guess now they're just back on for the original £990... not a chance!!!! Even with the decent set of tyres.
