15" wheels do fit our Civics

For those who are interested (except CTR) my local tyre shop helped me fit a 15" wheel with a 195/65/15 tyre.
It just managed to clear the caliper and brake shield, they also recommend a more aggressive wheel offset or spacers.

Are you planning on running these as winter tyres in the future, or was it just an inquisitive check?

I switched from 17" to 16" over winter for the first time and thought the clearance between wheel and caliper/brake shield was tight so for 15" it must be miniscule. Will be interesting to see how you get on once you've bought a set and done some miles...

The old Honda Integra Type-R DC2 used (I think) the same calipers and discs (282mm) as our Civics, they were also running 15" wheels without issues.
But finally I'm able to confirm this now.

Is it legal to put 15" tyres on a 8 gen civic ? Overhere allowed tyre sizes are 16" - 18".

Personally don't see the point. Might make the ride a little more comfortable but can't see a significant difference over 16.
