I switched from 17" to 16" over winter for the first time and thought the clearance between wheel and caliper/brake shield was tight so for 15" it must be miniscule. Will be interesting to see how you get on once you've bought a set and done some miles...

Personally don't see the point. Might make the ride a little more comfortable but can't see a significant difference over 16.
