Quick Question!!

Buying 18" Blades for my type S, but see that most people here use 225/40 with 18s?

Was planning on putting on 225/45 all round, I'm assuming, and hoping these will fit in fine with no rubbing?!

I'm getting the 45 profile for a little extra ride comfort to be honest, do yous think its worth it?

I've heard of people doing this. I think there is plenty of room in the arches to increase the profile (as long as you haven't lowered it).

However, you're speedo will be out slightly once you do this and you'll need to take this into consideration when driving it.

Looking at the calculations your car would be faster than your indicated speed. i.e. when you are travelling at indicated 60mph you'll actually be doing 62.1mph.

However, as most Civic's on here are 2-4mph under-reading anyway (mine is 4mph) this shouldn't make much difference , just double check with a sat-nav

Ahh yeah I get you! yep mine is 4mph slower as well, but I'll keep an eye on accurate speed to see how much of a difference it makes.. suppose every mph counts across the cameras!
