Wheel Spacers?

Hi everyone,

So i have 16" alloys on my civic. At the moment, bigger wheels are out of the picture, i just can't afford them.

I was wondering what some wheel spacers would look like on my car, i don't like how the arches stick out over the wheels - if u know what i mean.

Also, how do i deal with my insurance if i do fit them.

Thanks!

I had some Eibach 15mm spacers fitted on Friday. They're good, well engineered and make the wheels fill the arches... BUT... they do cause the wheels to catch the plastic arch liner when going over speed bumps. But mine are 18", 16" will be less likely to catch.

I can take a pic if you want?..

You should declare them to your insurer.

A pic would be great!

Do u think it will look ok with the 16" or do u think it will look stupid.

Thanks.

It improves any size wheel IMO. Just gives the car a wider stance and the arches, particularly at the rear, don't overhang the wheels like they did.

I've got a set of 'H&R 20MM Hubcentric Spacers' on the rear

The look great, have massively improved the stance, run on 17" alloys without catching the arches

You don't see the inside of the arch as much. Looks great.

Did your insurance go up?
