Terrible noise from front wheel.

Ive just had my car back from having wheel the bearings sorted, also the ABS sensor got snapped whilst job was being done.
Its now making a noise as if the breaks are seriously worn down, its only occasionally.
Is it something to do with the new bearings or has the garage messed the job up?
Thanks peeps.

take it straight back sounds like they have done something wrong, bearings when replaced correctly and enough grease applied no sound will be heard.

It maybe the brake pads have reached the squealer part that tells you the pads need replaced, but I would have thought the garage would have noticed that

ABS sensors are a pain to get off so usually the only way is to snap them off, as for your noise if it's when you brake and happens occasionally i would say it's maybe rusty disc or not you pads wearing but your actual discs. I had my pads replaced and a few weeks later had the grinding noise when braking booked it in elsewhere for an opinion turned out new pads on old discs was told to wait till they need doing, like you i get the occasional noise. If it was your bearing im sure it would be a constant noise.

Is it only when you brake and if so would you say it's a grinding noise (like a worn pad on a disc noise)

No,its just randomly.
It kind of sounds like that, but kind of a little better after breaking, very weird.

When my abs sensors where shot, I was getting terrible feed back from the brakes whilst putting foot on brake.

Did they replace the abs sensor?
