Badly fitted pads

I recently changed my rear brake pads after hear slight griding noise at low speed, you can see from the pictures that the pads where fitted badly (locating peg on the pad not lined up with the piston caliper.

I can only assume the car was like this from new as they are honda pads and the car was prevoulsy owned by a leasing company that used their own garge for serving, its done 61k.

I used blueprint pads now the brakes do feel sharper although still not as good as my prevoius civic.

Shocking!

Anyone with that level of incompetence should not be working on brakes!

I was shocked when I took the first caliper off but that turned to utter disblelief when the other pads where just the same.
Nothing to sugest the rear pads have been changed before in the service history, In the MOT history there is an advisory about front pad wear but the fronts are ok and made by blue print (it was owned by a lease car company so service at their garage) this is what makes me think it was like this from new.
