Aftermarket suspension (want smoother)

Hello. I have read a lot of the threads here about aftermarket suspension but all i found was *** wanting to get the car lower. I don't want racing suspension, i want a smoother one. Have anyone tried something in that direction? If someone can suggest me a smoother than stock suspension i will be very thankful.
My car is FK2 - 2006 4door 1.8.

Aftermarket suspension is mostly race orientated, as the point of coilovers is to make the car respond better and handle without body roll or bouncy suspension.

what car do you own? I would suggest the spoon rigid collars front and back and a fast road setup. See how you feel after this. As the eibach lowering springs are the only option out there atm without going coilovers.

What about Teins?

But yes, you don't really get aftermarket suspension designed for comfort.

I was told Kayaba might be a good choice. Will check about Teins.

Yes the teins s tech, but its still a lowering spring on the standard shock absorbers.

If you want a smooth aftermarket suspension you are talking close to the 1000 mark with adjustable damping.

FSD's will actually make the ride harder (more sporty), but irons out the bouncy, jiggly ride, somewhat.
That said, i wont be going back to the OEM Sachs setup any time soon.

Best to take a ride in a vehicle fitted with them, before you buy, as they aint cheap.

There is no suspension in world that fits an every day joes wage, that gives you that response and agility. But also gives you the comfort people desire. Unless you go for air suspension but then that is also very expensive.

I have koni FSD, eibachs and FRS and the ride is firm, very firm. The handling is awesome but I wouldn't call it comfy. ya definitely dont bounce around but ya gotta take it easy on uneven roads and avoid the pot holes

True, it'll never be called "comfy" - but overall, better than OEM ? - oh yes ! ...

Lol!! OEM isn't the best is it, but compared to most standard suspension. Its one of the best in its catergory IMO.

Softer ride

Forget all these coil-overs or whatever, i fitted Viking Protec-2 tires. Now i have a normal driving Civic FK-2 from 2009. So simple.
